The following Four Winds shamanic practitioners are offering the Munay-Ki rites, and healing sessions in Fairfield.
Michael is of Métis and Scots-Irish ancestory. His grandfather was a shaman as is his sister. Michael, however, went into academia. It wasn't until he found that his writing seminars were getting more and more shamanic that he decided to explore his native spiritual heritage. He began studying with the Four Winds Society in 2005 and became certified in 2007. He has been practicing since 2005. Michael specializes in soul retrieval but also performs illuminations and other modalities as needed. "I love initiating people into the Munay-Ki. It seems to empower them in a unique way. Cielle completed her course work with the Four Winds Society in December 2008. She also studied with Rainbow Jaguar, an energy healing school, during two trips to Peru in 2007 and 2008. She'll return to Peru for 3 weeks in March 2009. She has completed more than 150 private healing sessions, working in person and remotely by phone. Offerings include, chakra cleansing and balancing, crystallized and fluid energy extraction, soul retrieval, and personalized mythic work. Jeffrey Backstrom received these rites first in Fairfield, then during the FourWinds' "Healing the Light Body" training, and then from the Q'ero paqos in the high Andes. He works with individuals to facilitate healing through shamanic practices including assisted release, extraction, soul retrieval and sacred journey work.
